So I entered this competition called "Grim Tales", held by a group called young writers where you have to write a mini story with up to 100 words, and I 'won' I say 'won' because all you get is a certificate and a bookmark (not that I mind certificates and bookmarks) and you get your work published in an anthology. This is my second time, first time in around 2007-9. So yay, I am a published author in 2 book's . Today,during my break at my aunt's shop I done a portrait for someone- it was an attempt at a newer less manga style but not really semi-realism. I think it turned out quite good. I shall upload it soon, and planning to digitize it clean it up, add colour and give it to her and I'll upload that too. The best thing though is that one of my aunts clients saw me drawing and she came back asked how I was doing and she complimented me! Its really nice to hear that from a total stranger in real life since I know it was quite a sincere compliment and I felt so happy.
